Scottish Fencing would like to congratulate those Scottish fencers who travelled from all over the country, and from beyond our shores in some cases, to participate in the British U17 and U20 Championships held in the EIS Sheffield on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th October 2009.
Much praise must go to the coaches for some great results and also for the encouragement and support they give to the younger fencers who are taking their first steps on the British cadet and Junior pathways.
It was very nice to see the camaraderie amongst the Scots and thanks to those parents and coaches who helped out in very many small ways to make the competitions an enjoyable experience for the fencers.
