British Youth Championships 2010 - Central Scotland Qualifiers

As in previous years there have not been enough entrants to need to hold qualifying competitions for Central if you wish to enter the British Fencing LogoBYC Finals this year please send an entry to: Lorraine Rose, 27 Aberdour Road, Dunfermline, KY11 4PB

If we receive more than four entries for any competition then we will hold a qualifying event at a time and place convenient to the majority of the entrants before the 29th March 2010.

 Age groups

U12: Born 1998/1999/2000            U14: Born 1996 or 1997

U16: Born 1994 or 1995                 U18: Born 1992 or 1993

ENTRY FEE - £16.00 PER WEAPON EVENT (Central Section has to pay British Fencing for every entry so there can be no discount for entering more than one weapon)

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES 17th March 2010.

 Entries are only valid when accompanied by the appropriate entry fee - telephone or email entries WILL NOT be accepted. Cheques payable to Scottish Fencing Central Section. Fencers must be resident in Central Section or attend a Club in Central Section.

The first 4 fencers in a competition (without byes) in each event qualify for the British Youth Championship Finals to be held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd May at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

Fencer who have a Bye MUST enter the qualifying round, but need not turn up and fence if a qualifying competition is held.
